The Barn

Looking for accommodation for your family group or a group of friends? The Barn is an ideal place for your get together. Enjoy using The Barn’s spacious facilities, with 5 en-suite bedrooms and roomy indoor and outdoor social spaces - a clever mix of traditional and modern, with original 18 century beams and modern underfloor heating. With easy access to beautiful sandy beaches and the historic sights of Lincoln, the surrounding area offers plenty to do and see. Or simply enjoy the The Barn’s beautiful setting in the glorious Lincolnshire Wolds with rolling hills and many miles of footpaths straight from the door.

The Cottage

The Cottage provides very comfortable modern accommodation for 4 people.

With wooden floors, high sloping ceilings, beams, and under floor heating, the bright sunny rooms of this 18 century conversion make it an ideal base for a visit to the Lincolnshire Wolds. The Cottage has 2 bedrooms - one with a king-sized bed and one with twin beds. A sofa bed in the lounge is available for an extra visitor.

Barn and Cottage Holidays in Lincolnshire

A friendly Lincolnshire welcome awaits you at Brook House Farm. There have been Strawsons on the farm for over 100 years and the current owners, Roger and Julie enjoy welcoming visitors to their converted 18 century Barn and Cottage. They offer a variety of holiday and short break accommodation options. The farm is in an area of outstanding natural beauty with breath taking views across the valley. The farm has its own horse stud and livery yard.

Facilities at Brook House Farm include:

Accommodation for 12 guests in The Barn and 4 guests in The Cottage
Two ground floor bedrooms in the Barn and three upstairs
All Cottage accommodation is on the ground floor
Ample on-site car parking
Outside Barn patio area with picnic tables and BBQ
Outside Cottage patio area with picnic table and BBQ
Grass area for playing games
Undercover area for cycles
Horse accommodation, if you wish to bring your own horse/ pony on holiday.
Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement

My friends and family hired both the barn and the cottage for a long weekend, everyone had amazing time. The children loved playing as 'free range kids' and taking part in the stable days. We are in an ideal position for walking straight from the farm into the beautiful Wolds countryside. We are only a half hour drive away from Lincoln. During your stay enjoy the beautiful wolds area and historic market towns. Visit the nearby hostelries and enjoy the Tastes of Lincolnshire, locally grown produce.

Seals at Donna Nook

November and December are the ideal months of the year to visit the seal colony at Donna Nook, an easy drive from Brook House Farm. There are 100s of pups to be seen and expert volunteer wardens on hand to explain everything you might want to know.
